The artwork
Connected beneath the surface.
Underground, every mushroom on this crest is the same organism. The caps are just the part that surfaces; the real body is the mycelium, a web of threads quietly passing signals and sustenance from root to root across the whole forest floor.
Ecologists keep finding how far that web reaches: trees trading sugars through fungal threads, seedlings fed by elders they'll never touch. It's a fair picture of the other networks that hold people up, the unglamorous, invisible kind that only shows itself when you need it.
A varsity crest for everyone connected beneath the surface. Made to order, and 10% of every sale funds research into psychedelic therapy.
