Tattoo flash was never subtle. A sailor picked a design off the wall because it said the thing plainly: the ship, the swallow, the heart. This one follows the tradition, an anatomical heart in a burst of mushrooms, two banners, no mumbling.

The sentiment has trials behind it now. In studies of treatment-resistant depression, psilocybin therapy has produced rapid and lasting reductions in symptoms for many participants, and the way people describe it echoes the banners: something loosens in the mind, and feeling comes back to the heart.
