The artwork

Bigger than me.

People who've had a profound psychedelic experience often reach for the same words: it felt bigger than me. A sense of the self loosening and the universe rushing in. Researchers call it ego dissolution, and it's one of the strongest predictors of how meaningful people rate the experience afterwards.

But you can't live inside a galaxy. At some point you have to come back, sit down, and fold something that vast into a life with emails in it. That's the quiet work this little mushroom is doing: eyes closed, whole cosmos overhead, taking it one breath at a time.
